Description
Montagny is a rare white-wine-only appellation whose vineyards, until very recently, were all Premier Crus. The AC is known for producing good-value wines that are warm and fruity with a solid framework.


Tasting Note
A finely structured white Burgundy from the great 2006 vintage. The wine features aromas of apple, pear, citrus and mineral tones. Dry and fruity with good crisp acidity to bring it perfectly into balance. Will reward short-term cellaring (2-4 years) or enjoy it tonight with grilled pork tenderloin. (VINTAGES panel, July 2008)
