Tasting Note
Inniskillin's west coast Cab is filled with aromas of blackcurrant, vanilla, cocoa, coffee and tar. On the palate, the black fruits replay with an intriguing sweet herbal tone on the mid-palate. There's a wonderful precision between the fruit and the tannin. Medium full-bodied with a lengthy finish. This is a food-friendly Cabernet that is a fine match for barbecued Italian sausage, steaks or portobello mushrooms. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2008)
