Tasting Note
This is a flavourful and vibrant Chardonnay with a pure fruit profile in perfect harmony with its oak character. The aromas speak of apple, ripe pear, buttered toast and tropical fruit. It's dry, round and full-bodied with the ripe fruit, toasty oak and buttery flavours kept in line by zippy acidity that enliven the palate and make the taste buds pop. There's good length on the finish, too, making it the complete package. Serve with grilled prawns, crab legs or herbed chicken. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2009)
