Welcome to the LCBO Enviro Report

We produced this video to help explain how the LCBO is working to reduce the impact of its operations and supplier products on the environment. Originally developed for our staff and trade partners, we are now making it available to anyone who might find it of interest.

This edition, the second in a series, includes segments on how we are encouraging our suppliers to reduce waste through alternative packaging and the launch of the Bag It Back beverage alcohol container recycling program.

There’s also information about how the LCBO’s Natural Heritage Fund is preserving Ontario’s natural heritage through financial contributions to habitat restoration projects like Bring Back the Salmon and the Shrike Recovery Project.

We’re also reducing our environmental footprint through energy conservation projects like our corporate-wide hydro reduction plan.
